Dear colleagues,
We would like to cordially invite you to celebrate with us the 10th anniversary of the international peer-reviewed journal Convivium, which will take place on November 24, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in Hans Belting Library. The guest of honor will be Prof. Herbert L. Kessler (Johns Hopkins University Baltimore).
Convivium was created in 2014 as an “heir” of the interwar periodical “Seminarium Kondakovianum”. Its aim was (and still is) to connect research across cultures, time, and space. In its 10 years of existence, this project – created by the joint efforts of the universities of Brno and Lausanne as well as the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences – has gained a significant reputation on a truly global level. Today, the journal represents world-class scientific excellence with a focus on medieval art.
